Background:

The PeopleFirst Standard™ is an independent, standards-mapped certification platform for psychological health and safety at work. Not a survey. Not a wellness tool. A standard — the first of its kind.

Built on React/TypeScript with a Supabase backend, the platform delivers a 25-question scenario-based behavioural diagnostic across five dimensions: Leadership, Team Dynamics, Organisational Systems, Learning Culture, and Lived Experience. Rather than asking people how they feel, it measures what they actually do under pressure — then maps those findings clause-by-clause to ISO 45003, Danish BEK 1406, Canadian CSA Z1003, Safe Work Australia, UK HSE Management Standards, and the EU Framework Directive simultaneously.

The platform includes separate admin and respondent flows, a multi-rater architecture across three organisational levels, anti-bias protocols with validity triggers, a 20-respondent hard floor, and a 60/40 reality-weighted scoring methodology. Results produce a 5-level maturity score, perception gap analysis, policy vs. reality diagnostics, and automated PDF compliance evidence reports in three variants — board readout, internal working document, and regulatory submission pack.

GDPR compliant by design: no PII, no IP logging, sessions destroyed on submission. Built for the organisations regulators are increasingly pursuing — and for the boards that need verifiable evidence of duty-of-care compliance before they get that knock.

Active pilot conversations underway with major Danish employers. Backed by an expert advisory panel spanning occupational psychology, organisational safety, and standards governance.

The roadmap is real and well-defined. What it needs is the engineer who builds what lasts.

Role:

We need a full-stack developer who thinks architecture-first — not someone who patches problems later.

The front end is built and live at thepeoplefirststandard.com on React/TypeScript/Tailwind with a minimal Supabase backend in place. What's needed now is the engineer who turns a working platform into a production-ready product that organisations in multiple jurisdictions can genuinely depend on.

The core build:

Production Supabase backend — full multi-respondent data aggregation replacing the current pilot architecture, authentication and role-based access control, longitudinal data architecture for annual recertification and benchmarking, and a one-time token system for assessment security.

Automated PDF compliance report generation — three variants already designed, needs proper server-side rendering and reliable delivery.

Payments — Stripe integration for per-assessment fees and annual certification renewals.

Customer-facing UI improvements — the admin dashboard, results views, and onboarding flow all need a developer who cares about the experience as much as the infrastructure underneath it.

The data we handle is sensitive by nature: anonymised but aggregated across organisations, handled in compliance with GDPR Article 25 by design. Privacy frameworks and security architecture are not afterthoughts here — they are the foundation the whole certification credibility rests on.

Experience that matters: Supabase or equivalent backend, secure data handling, SaaS products with real users, payments, and ideally some exposure to compliance or regulated environments. You don't need to know what ISO 45003 is on day one. You do need to care that the thing you build is trustworthy.

This is a co-founder role. Innofounder funding covers a full year of salary if granted. Equity comes with it. The problem is real, the regulation is here, and the category doesn't exist yet. I'm looking for the person who builds what this becomes.
