Technical Cofounder for Food App (Puesto de cofundador)

Overview

Sustainability venture, building a surplus food app in the UAE, with a mission to tackle food waste. I believe in making a difference in a country with a high food waste per capita and an increasing cost of living over the years. There are several features not offered by competitors in the market, making this food app truly stand out, helping F&B businesses sell more food, and consumers benefiting from purchasing edible surplus food sold at discount

Requirements / Experience

Looking for a Technical Co-founder to partner with in building a surplus food app in the UAE.

You will have an understanding of modern engineering practices across a wide array of tech stacks, to ensure smart choices are made about architecture, frameworks and development practices.

Previous experience in start-ups, from working for/with a founder, or as a previous founder yourself, to fund raising and ambition for growth. This is imperative to building this app from the ground up, including what it takes to have an app designed and built alongside other tech requirements for the business overall.

Other requirements will also include both business and emotional intelligence. Be a great communicator, logical, collaborative, accountable and flexible, with the commitment and drive to grow the business with forward vision in the region.

Experience working in the Middle East would be ideal and based in the UAE or willing to relocate.

Location is Dubai, UAE. You will either be based there or willing to relocate
